Subject: ANY BODY FROM UAE???
  Hi,

Have to get our employment contracts notarized and don´t seem to know where to go. The only place we have found out are the Dubai Courts, but i hear we may have to have the documents translated into Arabic first, just so 0the person signing it will know what he/she is signing (!!)

If anyone of u is applying from the UAE, please do let me know where u got ur documents notarized.

Thanks

Hi Samina,
I am based in Dubai. There is one at Nasser Square in Deira. Are you applying on your own or through a consultant?

This Notary sits in Deira near Nasser Square. I will get their telephone number and post it for you. He is authorised to do for French and Canadian Embassy.

Tell me one thing OR you applying on your own or through Consultant.

Any notary public or family lawyer should be fine. His stamp must show his job function, address and phone numbers. His stamp is better to be in English

Hi Maximus and Rav,

I am applying by myself. Thought about going thru a consultant, but all the fab people on this, and other forums have convinced me to go by myself. Frankly I was impressed with any of the consultants, cuz I think they are charging way too much. Its fine if u want to sit back and have someone do all the work. But i love the challenge of doing it myself. Wish me luck!!

P.S. Rav, please do give me the no. Where in Nasser Square? Any idea how much he charges?

Thanks ICU Immigration. Will check up that as well

Samina,
You do not have to go to certain notary. Any civil lawyer who had a ergistration number can notarize your Doc´s. We are immigration lawyers, but in your case it is very simple and easy and you do not need a lawyer. Just stamp your documents notarized and keep going. My advise to you is do not go to any CSIC or QSIC. Consultants are not authorized even to give an immigration advise.
Good Luck Samina.

Thanks so much.

Alright I know this is going one step back, but a friend who has already become a PR, told me that their papers went without any notarization (they used an agent and she said they don´t need any notarization).

Does that means it ain´t imp to get them done, esp if all the original letters are in English? Is it true?

Hi Samina,
I also went through a very prominent consultant & didin´t notarize any of the documents. The only document I got translated in English & notarized was my PCC from Kuwait which was in Arabic.
If you would like any advice & like to speak to me, you can call me on my cell 4593117
