| Subject: 28 mounts no responds from Buffola |

i have applied in july 2002, 8 m. ago, i was asked to do my madical, finger print and i was asked to pay PR fee($975 ca)
i have done all of it and sent all th einformation but i have not heard anything back since last febuary, i was wondering if any of you had the same thing.

Under this situation - you should fax the concerned consulate where you applied for immigration. They will get back to you in due time.

Most probably your background check is going on. But as suggested mail a letter to the concerned consulate and ask them about the status of your application.
You can also apply for CAIPS notes just to see what is happening to your file.

Dear qurses
yes I have the same experience, I did my medicals and paid all fees in September 2001 (yes 2001) and still waiting.when I contact them, the answer is background check (it looks like they are checking on me on Mars)
just live your life and it will come

for u guys who is taking them soooo long after the medical...
did u all apply to buffalo?
what country r u from?
what level of education do u have? (masters, BS, BA)
