I called the local DMPs in my area to get an appointment for a medical examination. All they need to me to bring along when I come for the medical exam are my passport and 3 photos. They said they have all the forms needed to send to immigration. So I´m wondering why is it necessary to wait to get a letter from buffalo before getting medicals done. I understand that medicals expire in one year. I applied in Feb 2004 and hoping to get IA anytime this month with high probability of interview waiver since all my education and work experience documents are from Canada.

Is there anybody who got their medical done before letter from embassy? Please advice.

Friend:

DMP won´t do the medical exam without a letter from Canada Immigration. If they said ´yes´, it could be only be a communication gap.

Have patience. Your time will come.

Good luck.

Buddy I spoke to 2 DMPs here ...and both said the same thing ...that all I need is PP and 3 photographs and they have all the forms. There isn´t any room for miscommunication.

I know that most ppl wait till they hear something from the embassy ...but is it necesaary?

Hello
It is necessary to wait until you get a letter from embassy. In that letter, Embassy will give Form A (with your photo). Dr has Form B to E. If you show Form A to Dr., they will fill from Form A to Form E and then they will send it to embassy.
Medical test is valid for one year only.
So once you get a letter from Embassy, Read all the detail and then go to Dr. Pls wait until you get a letter.
Just now I have got Letter from embassy. After finishing Medical test, I will write my Experience.
Good Luck.
