Subject: PPR from buffalo

hi everybody, I just got the PPR from buffalo today. I have a question for those who have gone through this ... how long might it take for the passport stamping process? My wife just left Canada for a 4 week trip back home... do you think she could send me her passport for me to send both passports to buffalo, have them stamped and returned, and send hers back within this time?? Or should we just ´relax´ and wait for her to come back on June 21st and send the passports after... the letter suggests to send the "passports as soon as possible, failure to do so could result in delays in processing"...
any suggestions are welcome!!

our time line (In Canada applicants, to Buffalo)
applied for CSQ (Montreal): August 2004
received CSQ: July 2005
applied for PR (Buffalo): August 2005
IA: Sept 2005
Docs: Oct 2005
Medicals: Nov 2006
PPR : May 2006

... man... you hear people receiving PPR´s while it seems it won´t happen to you... but it´s just a matter of navigating through the whole process with patience....

cheers

... by the way, for those who might wonder... we were not requested to do Canadian fingerprinting. We´ve been in Canada for two years now. We just had to send US and Mexican records (places where we´ve been before)

If you do this, she may not be able to enter the country until you land, if you are the principal applicant, since she will have to enter with new immigrant visa.
