My parents are here in Canada on Visiting Visa. They got 1st extension for 6 months after their first 6 months are over. Now I would like to apply for 2nd extension. I have already applied Sponsorship application for them.
Can anyone help me which reason would describe best their situation to get their 2nd extension.
thanks much,

(in reply to: Visitor Visa extension) Depending on which country they are from and IRPA section 3 (1) f as well 3 (1) d your best option is to submit an H&C application from within Canada based on family reunification. That all persons are not treated equally as per IRPA 3 (3) d etc.
You have to go back to the authors of the current act and read Building a Nation and understand what was anticipated by the act and the regulations and what the former Minister Codere did regarding family reunification.

How long it took them ? (in reply to: Visitor Visa extension) Hi Anil,
My wife also applied for extension for visitor´s visa. I wonder how long it take the immigration to process your extension visitor´s visa application and send extension visa for the first time.

30 days (in reply to: Visitor Visa extension) It will take less than 30 days. For my parents the extension visa arrived in 23 days.
