I came to Canada on a work permit for a duration of six months ( in Feb 2004 ). Now my employer has got my Work permit extended for one more year ( till Aug 2005 )
I want to visit India and come back.
Since my VISA has expired ( it was only for six months ), I have to again get my passport stamped with new VISA extension.
I am planning to do this once I go back to India.
Just wanted to know if there is any procedure to get my Visa extended ( stamp on passport ) right here in Canada, so that I do not need to go through the procedure in India again.

I think there is drop-box service in Delhi for people who have a work permit or study permit but visa has expired. I believe they process it the same day.
If you apply within Canada it maybe take you couple months go get your passport stamped.
