Hadn´t heard from you in a while. Saw your response to Jowsie´s IA post. I think your Xfer date was Feb 9th right?. I see that a FEb 7th Xferee got IA in early May. Have you gotten anything yet?

NO, nothing at all IDO. I have been in the forum regularly but chose not to respond as it gets me upset and frustrated with the sluggish response of LA.

Yes my transfer date was Feb 9, but I didn´t see an IA for a Feb 7 xferee, where did you see that? You can´t help but wonder if only we were transfered to NY we would probably be in Canada right now, as the other fortunate ones with our same timeline are now enjoying.

L.A. seems to be focusing now on PPRs, which is good, but I don´t think they are focusing as much on the IAs. However during this time I am having the opportunity of saving more money, which is always useful. The only bad thing is that I thought I was being proactive by getting my finger print card so that when i get my IA and they ask for it that there won´t be a delay. My card is stamped Jan.31 2006, and I did send one with my original application. But now I am worried that it may not be valid by the time I get my IA and if they ask for one then I got to go through the whole process of getting one again.

So you see, you don´t hear from me and then when I do respond I have alot on my mind. Yet we are not alone, all of us are in this process together so that is the only reprieve I have, and seeing the few get through reasonates a shot of optimism for all of us. See you around. I will try to stay more conspicuous and support everyone else, but i definitely will let you all know should I get anything.

My thoughts exactly ... (in reply to: Rgeno79)
We´ve just gotten a 6 month lease for our apartment .... it was a good thing there was a promo for no increase .... otherwise we would have been pissed off for not applying for 1 year before!!! ho hum that means another 6 months here at the least ....

Everything is on hold ... I´m trying to figure out what is happening in LA .... one explanation that i can see is ... even though we have APR 05 AOR´s ... there are a lot who got APR 05 AOR´s but submitted there application way before us ... OCT-DEC 04 ... i´m thinking they are being processed ...

One more thing that pisses me off is we checked SEATTLE as the city of interview ... don´t know why they transferred us to LA ... it´s beginning to be one of the cities i hate the most ... hehehe ... rant rant rant rant ..

But in any case .... at least i see some PPR´s being given out ... for other cities that means as a whole the immigration system is moving .... don´t ask about the U.S. immigration coz they´re back to stone age ... no system whatsoever ... people applied back in 01 .. no word .... people applied in 02-05 some word ... people applied in 06 ... they get approved at once ... HAHAHAHA .... they got FIRST IN-NEVER OUT LAST IN-MAY BE GETS OUT logic being used .... add on the rallies for the illegals (what a piece of crap! ..... line-up like the others man!!) .... you´ll get nowhere ...

ooops gotta go .. it´s longweekend ..... gotta go swim...

Rgeno 79-

If you do have to get another fingerprint request expedited service and give them a date. That way you´ll get it back in a couple of weeks. Put the requested date in letter and on envelope.

Rgeno79. I think fingerprints are good for one year, so you´ll be awright.I also thought I´d be "smart" and send for mine in advance, thinking that I would have my IA by first week of May at LATEST. Oh well :( Anyways, I got the FBI report back in April, and that´s what I´ll send when they ask for it.

Jowsie, I´m feelin ya. I know well about putting everything on hold in the name of Canada immigration. I don´t know what´s going on with LA. I recently moved form NY to NJ before applying for PR. I had NY as my first choice for interview. LA was not even a third choice. But, where did they decide to send my file? To the slowest office indeed!!

Anyways, I think everything happens for a reason. I just hope that they don´t ,reach thier 2006 quota before Our PPRs come through. Otherwise, we´ll have to wait till "early 2007".

I just can´t help wondering how far this process would have gone if they had sent my file appropriately to NY.
