I don´t know if there is any need of covering letter to be submitted with the application. All you need is the checklist provided along with the forms, and make sure all the documents are complete. The detailed application speaks for itself already, and unless you want to mention about something that you think is not evident from the forms, you can include a covering letter, however it is not a necessity though.

There is no need for cover letter, but I separated my documents into different clear holders and paged them thus I provide a listing of documents in each clear holder

if you have some case piled to the cpc. It needs a covering letter from your lawyer
