I sent it with priority and deliver confirmation. When checking the status on the usps site, always shows that it is accepted at xxxx(place i posted), it never turns to delivered.
I went my post office, they called west virgina post office and they intern talk to fbi if they have received. It took several days and as several things happened, FBI contacted us and told that they received it and they would processing.
Finally, they processed it and sent to us with in total of 20 days.
Mine is bad experience with usps priority. I decided not to use it for critical docs. I prefer Fedex.
USPS with signature confirmation may result in better.

I doubt it, coz whatever you said seems to be the case with priority mail even with sig confirmation. I´ll wait and see how long would it take to show it is delievered. I´ll keep in mind your Fedex suggestion for future.... a few extra bucks can give a peace of mind for sure.

Registered mail, US postal service, is the safest US postal way. Stuff is kept in a locked box. Or FEDEX.
