We are planning to land in Canada from USA in July. This is regarding List of goods.
1.we need to prepare List of goods to follow (2 copies)
2.we need to prepare List of goods carrying with us (2 copies)
3.There are two forms in the internet -
B4 Personal Effects Accounting Document
B4A Personal Effects Accounting Document (list of goods imported)
4.I understand that B4 is the List of goods to follow, which we need to downland and fill. Again 2 copies of it.
5.I understand that B4A is the List of goods carrying with us, which we need to downland and fill. Again 2 copies of it.
Could anyone correct me if Iam wron and provide the correct information. Or clarify that this information is correct.

B4 is the main form, B4A is just a continuation if you have more goods than will fit on the B4. The B4As have a check box for "goods to follow" at the top, so you should put your goods to follow on (a) separate B4A(s) from the goods you´re taking with you. My partner and I imported goods for our seasonal residence (which we hope will become permanent) last weekend and just filled out the B4, put "See Attached" on the description of goods, and attached two excel spreadsheets, one for goods with us and one for goods to follow, complete with values, serial numbers, and totals (the customs people especially like that we had totalled them up -- saved them the trouble).

Sure thing. Where are you landing? Are you a SW immigrant? How long did the processing take? We drove across the thousand islands bridge just north of syracuse to near Lansdowne ON then on to Ottawa.
