Subject: Does MP really help??
I was at MP office yesterday.
I told them I am 19 month after applied, 15 month after AOR.

MP office assistant told me they will help me look into it.
Takes 2 weeks to get response from Buffalo.

I bet Buffalo might just say, we are still processing.
Processing for what??

Anybody deals with MP before?
Any help?

I have dealt with my MP. they took the file number, they then did an data check with CIC to read the full version of the CAIPS notes. All they then could do was tell me why our application was rejected and how we might do things differently next time to have success.

they could not instruct anyone at CIC to ´hurry´ or change a decisions.

They can do nothing, except for getting some detailed information, sorry departure bay if I were an officer working in CIC and if an MP reaches me for something private I would say ´ fuck off man dont you have anything more important than this´ and would ignore that applicant and do my best to forget about it... Who knows may be I work in CIC...

anonymous why are you so screwed up? I am sure departure bay was not asking to influence any decision. He wants to know what is happening with his application. I don´t think you should read too much into his post. But hey he has the right to know eactly what is going on in his case.

DB - how long since they have your language test? they were waiting for it. I know you sent it several times but they now have it, and they can now continue with your file.

Let´s hope everything goes quickly from here.

DB- that would suggest that was the reason for the delay. Hopefully it will move quickly now.

My guys file was not rejected - it was closed without our knowledge. they did not get documents that they requested within the time given. (why is a story I won´t share because you will not sleep at night)
