I am an American citizen originally from Niagara Falls, NY and currently living in New York City where I work as a video producer/editor for a Management Consulting Company while finishing a Master´s Degree in Media Studies.
I have just learned of a post-graduate training programme in Toronto and am interested in pursuing it, however it requires that the applicant either be a Canadian citizen or have Landed Immigrant Status. I am not familiar with the term and would like to know what it requires. Since I have a strong interest in someday living and working in Toronto I´d like to know if it is possible.
My father´s parents were both Canadian I wonder if that would help with the status. Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
