| Subject: Ontario medical card after landing |
After landing, when does the 90 day wait begin for the Ontario medical card? From date of landing, date of receipt of PR Card, or date on PR Card (whatever that will be)?
Also, must one remain in Canada during the wait for PR Card and medical card?

The 90 date wait (medical) begins upon landing, Richard, I´m pretty sure of that. One can have the PR card mailed to someone other than yourself in Canada, but I´m not certain if you have to sign for and pick up the medical card in person.

Or if you actually have to be in Canada for 90 days to receive the medical card. I think you don´t.
