Hi everyone just curious if i could get a few answers and opinions on my situation.
When i first moved to canada i was 8 years old to live with my mom and stepdad here in canada. I ended up living in canada until i was 17. In that time i recieved my citizenship in canada. At 17 i ended up moving to california to finish high school and had thougts about going to college there. Now about 8 months ago at the age 22 i moved back to canada because of my financial situation to live with my parents again here. When i entered canada they gave me a hard time and gave me a 2 month pass to figure things out. I ended up going back to canada immigration office to apply for a travel document which ended up being the wrong form but they said i could now stay longer in canada to finish off the days i needed to apply for my permanent resident card. Sorry if i have confused you all.
basically what im asking now is in july i planned on just visiting my dad in california for a couple weeks but i dont have a PR card nor will i bet able to get one by then. Will there be any way for me to get back to canada without a permanent resident card? And how can i find out for sure if im a permanent resident? Thanks for any answers in advance.

(in reply to: Situation and question...) I don´t understand. If you are a Canadian citizen, why would they take away your citizenship? Is it because you were under 18?

(in reply to: Situation and question...) you are not canadian by birth and obviously did not become one at 18.... well, it is interesting case, to say the least. I would say you might be better off making the US your home! I wish I could.
