Subject: Police certificate within the last 3 months?? |
|

|
I would like to get police certificate from the FBI and my questions are:
1- According to Canadian officials certificates must be issued within the last three months. Is it 3 months from the time of submitting the application?
2- Can I send the certificate after submitting the applications by 4 months or so? Or do I have to submit the certificate with the rest of the applications?
Thanks for all help

Police certificates (in reply to: Police certificate within the last 3 months??) Hello
You should NOT submit your police certificates with your application. The visa officer will let you know when to submit these; however, you may want to apply for and aquire youe certificates in advance to the officer´s request. See Overseas Processing Manual Chapter 6 for more information on SWP processing guidelines.

Hi Mr Caul,
Thank you for all your help.
May I ask... where can I find that processing manual?
What are the documents that an applicant should submit in the very first round?
Regards,
Jen

(in reply to: Police certificate within the last 3 months??) 1. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/manuals-guides/english/op/index.html.
2. Refer to the visa office specific guide for instructions on what to submit, or consider hiring e-canada. :)
