Subject: Dual Canada/US bank?
Is there any bank that operates both in Canada and US?
I am thinking if I can deposit Proof of fund in such bank and just use bank statement during landing. is that possible?

CIBC, Scotia, and RBC should have branches in the US, these including BMO and TD Canada Trust are the largest banks in Canada.

You will have to contact the branch to find out about dual account. They can setup a Cdn account for you while you are outside the country, it will take time, but it can be done. The your account in Cda will be solely a Cdn account.

RBC talks about international banking and coverting to major currencies. Here is the link http://www.rbcprivatebanking.com/international-bank-account.html
If you find out a good solution please let us know. Thanks

HSBC will open that account for you and it will transfer your credit history within the bank if you transfer the min amount.
