I got my caips last month, which shows saudi police clearance and medicals are required.Nothing about ROLF.But today i received a letter from visa office asking for saudi police clearance+ medicals +ROLF. Is it normal?

If your CAIPS showed Police Clearance and medicals are required and they are now asking for same a month later be happy. They may have received other security checks so have asked for you RPRF now instead of later. Trying to understand why could drive you over the edge. Be happy and comply.

Check your facts. Stop giving wrong information to people here. What is your source of this information?
I was in a similar situation - I was asked for Police Clearance + FBI + Medicals + ROLF way back in Oct 2004, which I submitted in Dec 2004. I have not heard anything from Buffalo since.

First of all.. name the fee correctly.
the letter is standard, caips sometimes does not show request for RPRF.but the letter issues is standard and not designed just for you.
