Hi Sharon,
Since u r Canadian, may be u can help. Do u think that I can give PO box as my address at the port of entry? If yes, where can I rent one from? I am planning to land in canada (Vancouver, B.C.) on Nov 25, 2004?
Could you please advise me on this?
Thanks again for all ur help !!

post office box (in reply to: Question for Sharon !!) I don´t know. I have suspisions that CIC would not consider a PO box secure enough.
Not sure what your home country is... but don´t be frightened by Vancouver November/December weather. It is dark and cold and wet. You will see us at our worst - but our hearts are warm. Invest in some thermal underwear.
If CIC does not allow a PO box and you are stuck for a permanent address... I would consider letting you use my work address. Not sure if that is acceptable to CIC. My work is easily accessible by Vancouver transit. If I can help... let me know.

Need advice from Sharon. (in reply to: Question for Sharon !!) Hi Sharon,
Please let me know what preparation one must do before moving to Canada (Toronto). Not in terms of logistics. How to get a job in own field. What is the importance of Canadian experience (any field). What is the best way to settle down in Canada.
bye
