| Subject: Add wife to the application only to get morepoints |

Hi,
I guess i´m in strange situation here. i would really appreciate if any one can help us out here
1. I(Just me) applied for PR in jan 06 (with estimated points 72).
2. I got my AOR two weeks after that.
3. I got letter asking me to take IELTS (assuming i get 10 of max 16) when I take the actual IELTS.
After the IELTS examination, my points will be reduced to 66 just 1 point shy of minimum requirement for PR.
On the other end my wife is applying for PNP but not certain, how ever to have my application going smoothly can I just add my wife´s educataion(MS in canada) to gain 5 points withou having to apply for her dependent PR. We dont´ want to conflict by applying two application for her, one via PNP and one via dependent. I guess you got what I´m trying to say.
Bottom line can I use my wife´s education to get enought points for my application without having hers involved?

No. You would obviously need to get a PR for her as well and submit the additional fees for her being on your application.
If she is not on your application, then you are not taking her with you and so her qualifications and experience is not going to Canada with you. At least that is what your application is saying.
