Hallo all,

The problem is where I have to take PCC, whedher I need to apply for PCC independently at all three places or getting PCC at any one location is enough. Pl suggest me.

Choudary,

Here is the procedure:

Go to your commissioner of Police office. Ask them the check list of all the documents they need to process your PCC. They will also ask you to pay Challan for around 500Rs per person I believe( I forgot the amount). You have to pay Challan in some bank and submit the forms in the Commissioner office.
Make sure that you write a letter to Commissioner of Police requesting PCC for Canadian Immigration. In the letter, mention the Date as to when you stayed in Hyd(and for what) and when u stayed in VSP and again when u stayed in Chennai. Make sure you have all your study certificates etc.,
Once you submit all thise, they will send your application during verification process to respective city Police Depts and will issue a PCC. You have to submit a Passport Size Photograph too.
The above process takes about a month and 15 days(mine took the same). If you are lucky it could be earlier too.
So make sure you submit the PCC app as early as you can.

Hope this helps !
Good Luck

Chowdary,

You can save time if you are staying at your current residence for more than an year and if your passport is issued from your current residence´s RPO. Just go to the RPO office and apply - 300 bucks per person - You will get it in two days.

If passport is from outside your current RPO, then it will take more than a month. They get the report from your passport issuing RPO and then do a police verification of your current residence. If you are not living there for more than 1 year, again it will be more checks.

Good Luck
