| Subject: "FILLABLE FORM" How do I save it? |
For permanent residence, I have started putting the papers together. I have typed in the information in the "fillable form" on the cic website, but I am unable to save it. Can someone please help me save the file with the information that I have typed in. Thankyou

You need to use the lasted version of ADOBE that enables you to save the PDF. I think its version 7.0 or the Prof. version.

Not only that, to save updated PDF documents you need to buy the full-function licensed version of Adobe Acrobat. Since I didn´t want to spend the money, I just filled out the PDF forms on my computer (which you can do but you cannot save it then) and printed multiple copies (one to send to CIC and a few for my records).

you can download the Adobe Acrobat 7.0 or later version (the one that will allow you to save) from Kaaza or any other peer tp peer software.

Are you sure? Is this legal (not that it matters to some)? I´m pretty sure you have to pay Adobe to get an updateable version of Acrobat.

I think you should be able to do a ´save as´ once you have filled it in.

Don´t think so. Acrobat read-only is free, but not saveable version.

Get a free version that let you save. It´s called cutePDF.

Thanks guys for the response. I will follow Richard´s advice and fill up the forms on the computer and print a number of copies than do something that would not be legal.
