Subject: Skilled perminant residence with conviction
How tolerant are the Canadian officials to convictions? I was once arested in 2002 and accepted to plead guilty in 2003 to disorderly conduct which is a summary offence here in the US. There was no jail time but I paid $100 fine.

Thanks for all help I can get on this.

Criminal Rehabilitation (in reply to: Skilled perminant residence with conviction)
Hello.

For information concerning criminal rehabilitation for the purposes of immigrating to Canada, see the following:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/rehabil.html, and

Would you be interested in having a professional advisor review your entire application prior to submitting it? It costs very little, and can help you avoid months (years???) of delays in processing. For more information, please visit http://www.e-ca.ca/eaudit.htm and http://www.e-ca.ca/efees.htm
