(in reply to: Help! I will landing, I-94 was expired) I had L1-A visa. But it was denied to extend in U.S, So, I appealed. This is on processing now. The result of appeal is not come out. I need to go Canada as a new immigrant. What will I do when I cross boarder? Do I submmit my expired I-94?

(in reply to: Help! I will landing, I-94 was expired) It happened to me also. My I-94 was valid when I applied for L1A extension. However by the time my extension application was denied the I-94 became invalid. From the date of denial I over stayed for 14 days before getting out as I could not get tickets. I left US by handing over the expired I-94 to the airlines staff.
If you are departing on your own no one stops you despite od your I-94 is valid or not. Departing without a I-94 itself is a differntent issue which I do not have an experience.

(in reply to: Help! I will landing, I-94 was expired) I don´t know much about this scenario. Just some advice, if you are hopeful of positive outcome of your appeal for L1 extension, I would suggest wait until then before you get to Canada. If going to Canada is timebound, yes, do submit the I-94 at the border, and ofcourse you won´t be able to re-enter USA again without proper Visa.
