hi there,
got my PPR from NY today. it was dated june 20, 2006 and they asked for passport and 4 photos.
my timeline:
applied to buffalo: mid dec 2004
aor: march 2005
ielts request: july 2005, results submitted sept 2005
transfer to NY: jan 2006
IA: feb 2006
meds: feb 2006
additional meds: mar 2006
additional docs: end april 2006
asked to submit new rprf: mid may 2006, new rprf submitted: end may 2006
ecas changed to meds recd: june 5, 2006
PPR: june 27, 2006

can you tell us why did they ask you additional medicals? what test did they ask? I am curious as I had past history too.

1) no i did not have an interview. it was waived at the time of the IA
2) it was not exactly additional medicals. as soon as my DMP got the results, he asked to me go see a specialist for a second opinion. the specialist confirmed that there was nothing wrong. he sent his version of the report to my DMP, who then forwarded it to Ottawa.

Great news ! Congrats... Go to Canada and embark on a new life.. Good Luck.
My timeline is pretty much same as yours; I am expecting to get the PPR sometime in July :)
