what proof of funds should I show? bank statement of 2 months should do? What about property / cars? At the time of application I had the funds but since I did not require this I have lent it out and can get this back in a few days - would this do?

as long as what you declare meets the minimum required- I believe you are OK. The big caution I am reading is not to overstate how much money you intend to bring to Canada thinking it will improve your application success. - why? some IO may ask you to prove it and if you can´t you have just lied to CIC!

Thank you Sharon for your reply. You mean in the minimum $ 13000 for 2 people we can include our property and cars or have to have cash in bank? I am asking this for interview.
