Subject: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment |
Hey guys, I heard about that the processing time may be shortened to 6~8 months for the fast-tracked cases (25% of all applications), such as arranged employment and business class immigration...
Is that real?

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) Not sure about that Albert. I have arranged employment but the process times for me seems to be the same as I have seen on this site as for everyone else. Don´t know about business class immigration

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) Thank you Juliet. Anyway, could you share with your time frame? I just got AOR last month. Praying for the next coming mail.

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) By the way, I am currently working in Canada as a permanent employee with two year post-graduate work permit.

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) Not sure what all the short hand terminology means (AOR?)
I came to Canada 2003 on a work permit;
Applied for PR May 8th 2005
Received File Number May 23rd 2005
Not heard anything since. Work permit expires end of next year.

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) I think it depends on the embassy. Paris makes this claim on their website.

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) Departure Bay - how long have you been waiting to hear from Buffalo?

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) oh, you don´t wanna know my timeframe.
Individual case might be different.
When I applied PR back in Nov 2004,
AOR march 05,2005.
I don´t have post-graduated work permit.
I add that in Feb, 2006.
I believe that really confused Buffalo.
Wait from AOR march 05, 2005 until today.
It has been 14 month, NO IA!~!!!!!
However, if you initially applied with job offer or work permit in it, Guess no worry at all.
I have two years post-graduated work permit, union job.
full benefit with full pension. paid 22% T4 (more than 650 dollar/month).
Check with MP, MP checked with Ottawa, because I add
new employer in it. It confused Buffalo, therefore.
I won´t expect anything hear back for another 9 month until Jan 2007!!!!!!!!!!!
In my case, because I add employer in it, therefore
I need wait 2 years for IA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you initially applied with job offer/work permit,
sure probably you have better luck than me

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) that really sucks - but I guess if you have a job and a permit - it doesn´t really matter how long the wait....?

(in reply to: Fast-tracked processing for arranged employment) well, waiting is tough juliet. You can´t have a date, you can´t mortgage house, looking for the market booming and lost chance to get into it.
you can´t even go home because you don´t know when Buffalo will ask you to do medical.
So complicated, I´m so frustrated.
I wanna hold you close, I wanna push you away,
I wanna make you go, I wanna make you stay.
Should I say it? Should I tell you how I feel?
Oh, I want you to know.
But then again, I don´t. It´s so complicated.
