| Subject: Expediting PR application |

Hi,
I had applied for a PR to Canada from New Delhi, India last year and this year I have moved to Toronto on a work permit. As the processing times are huge in India, I thought of expediting the my PR application. Here are my options that I can think of:
1) Submit a "arranged employment" letter from my present company at New Delhi, India
2) Submit a request to move the file from New Delhi, India to Buffalo, New York (where the processing time would be much shorter).
I have already e-mailed New Delhi High Commision the request for option # 2 and sent the supporting documents after getting a response from them around 3 months back and since then I haven´t got any response from them yet.
Any advice and past experiences would help me lot.

The ´arranged employment´ has to be from an employer in Canada, not abroad. If your company has a branch in Canada and they can give you an indeterminate job offer in Canada then it will considered for ´arranged employment´ points.
2) If you are in Canada on a work permit that is valid for another year or longer, then you can try to transfer your file to a consulate in the US to speed up the process.
