| Subject: PLEASE HELP: How Can I Receive RPRF Refund in NY? |

I picked up my visa in June 29th 2006 in NY and am already planing to move to Canada in August 1st, 2006. Could anybody tell me if it is proper to ask the Canadian Embassy in NY for sending me the RPRF fee refund (check) to my NY address? I´d like to get this refund before I leave NY. Also, I don´t have a permanent mailing address in Canada yet. How long does it take to receive a refund from NY office?
Please help me ASAP.

- CIC started processing my application on May 05, 2003 (e-file).
- CIC transferred my application to the New York office on May 19, 2004 ( e-file) - i.e. the initial assessment ended and an interview is required.
- An interview has ben waved (FBI Clearance, RPRF, Medicals, etc. required) on January 12, 2006.
- Medical results have been received on June 8, 2006 (e-file).
- Passports were required by The Canadian Embassy on June 22, 2006.
- A decision has been made on my application on June 27, 2006 (e-file).
- Passports were picked up on June 29, 2006.
