  Guys,

Just wanted to let you know, today as usual I was checking
my e-client status, with the expectations that nothing new would be there, but to my surprise it did mention, "medicals have been received". This is very good news. I did my Medicals toward end of March. Now going as per the fast speed of NY office, I am expecting to get the PPR by July end !

I sent my passport and the photographs on the same day. now just waiting to get my visa and COPR.

good luck.

Just out of interest - does ecas just say "in process" until they receive your medicals? Does it not inform you when your IA has been issued? Just curious.

Hi anony,

Thanks for your reply.Yes, we have across each others´ posts many time.Just wondering since I live very near to NY, can I go and get my passport stamped in person ?

Hi Juliet,

The application still says ´in process´.
It has three lines.

1) We received your application on this date
2) We transferred your application to NY on this date
2) Medicals received (no date)

Brian,
yes you can get it stamped in person but only on thursdays. in your PPR letter they will state that you should bring passports in the morning between 8:30am and 10:30 am and pickup the FOLLOWING thursday between 1:30 and 3:00 pm. i found that weird. hope this helps.

My e-cas status also has same info as Brian´s. But my doubt, when they say "Medicals Received", are they received at Ottawa or NY?

I did my medicals in last week of March and e-cas was updated this week.

Thanks anony. I know why just one particular day, so it means I have to be in NY on Wednesday morning, to collect the passport the following Thursday. I will do it, I just don´t feel comfortable mailing in my passport.
