Dear Freinds,
I´m planning to land in Canada and spend 3 - 4 weeks there before leaving the country. I´m then planning to re enter the country later after 2 year and then wish to live there for ever. I have few questions related to Proof of Fund.Please let me have your sincere advice and feedback on the same.,
- I have a property in India which I´m planning to dispose and bring the capital with me to Canada later on while coming there on a permanent basis. So is it possible that I show the required fund of CAD 16000 ( for a family of 3) only now while entering and then bring this amount later?
- I´m planning to open a account in HSBC Canada from here and deposit the money CAD 16000 on it. Is it acceptable if I show the bank statement on my arrival to the immigration officer as a proof of fund.
- Will this amount attract any tax if brought later on?
- Is it legally possible for me to bring the amount from India later on?
- Is there any restriction for a new immigrant that he should only carry certain amount of money with him while entering Canada?
Please suggest and advice.
