Subject: anybody out survive this problem?
we got a notice requesting a second confirmation of funds and a renewed passport. We were given 120 days to respond. We sent a registered courier package to Paris at the 75 day mark. E-Client is slow and we were not seeing any updates. We got a letter Friday stating that they could not proceed with the file because they did not have the requested documents.

We plan to call Paris on Monday morning and offer them the tracking number and faxed copies of the documents we sent. We also plan to follow up with a resubmission of the missing documents. Not sure if that will satisfy them or not. (that is assuming they will answer the phone)

Do you think they will reopen the file, or will we be back at the beginning. Anybody been through this???

(see... I have problems too) :)

They lost my documents too.. (in reply to: anybody out survive this problem?)
Hi Sharon:
It is very bad to hear these news, but I am sure everything will be o.k.
My application is an In-Land application (sponsorship). When my partner and I applied we wuold´ve never tought this was going to happen, but after almost 6 months of no having any news from then, we called the to ask what was going on and they said::
We did not receive your application( You can imagine how I felt ). What we did is that we sent a letter to my partenr´s MP and to the Minister because almost sounded ilogical that they had accepted the payment of the application but they did not have the application .Along with this letters we faxed the photocopies of the application and photocopies of payments receipts
Few days later my partner received a call from them and telling him that they did recieve the application, but they put it under the second initial of my first last name(I´ve always got trouble with this because I have a weird last name by the way).
My guess is that you gonna have to fax the missing
documents just to provide them before the bottom line .
But It is just a guess.. because Is what I did.
I think you will be fine...I know how furstrating it is, but keep your faith up ...
Good wishes...

update (in reply to: anybody out survive this problem?)
Paris actually answered the phone and has allowed us to send faxed copies of the lost documents.

We have been advised to call on Wednesday to find out what they will do.
