Subject: Need help, PLEASE
  Hi,

I applied as SW about 2 years ago. My BF is a Canadaian Citizen and we have two childern that were bron in Canada. We just got married last week, but I never informed CIC about my childern.

I got a letter from CIC saying that I never informed them for my childern´s birth and my application could be refused. They say I should submit all the info I have..what should I do....PLEASE HELP!!

From your post it is not clear:

1. If your kids were born at time of application - in which case it is going to be difficult to salvage as you did knowingly falsified info.

2. If kids were born after your application, write a letter explaining you were busy with your new born babies and forgot about it. Further you did not mean to be disrespectful towards the immigration system.

Thanks for everyone who took time to respond:

When I submitted my application, I did not have any kid, then my first child was born, we hide it beaucse my family never approved of me having a child before marriage, we just did not want anyoen to find out, then we had the second child. We asked around and ppl said if you tell CIC now, you will be refused. I did not hide my childern cuz of CIC and my imm but family reason...honest... MY childern are both Canadain citizen, living with my hubby in Toronot. He got a got job and a Canadian citizen, I had to reason to hide them from CIC. I did it cuz of family :( what should I do GOD..

you tell CIC as fast as you can. Hiding from family is one thing - hiding from CIC is another - and not so good.

you might want to check with a lawyer about how to do this so there is less problems. The children, and the marriage.

good luck.

I agree with Sharon.

What you did is falsify documents - which is a serious crime. CIC is not concerned with your social or personal matters. You can never falsify documents.

Now, your Husband and Kids can´t be deported as they are citizens, but you can since this is automatic disqualification of not only CIC rules but also laws of a country.

You must:

1. Go to a lawyer immediately and seek what can be done.
2. Talk to your local MP and ask help. Now there you can explain your social and personal situation.

My case still in process...they have not made a decision but they have not refused my file as yet. They have given me 30 days to send them all the info and doc. They say I must justify on why this all happen...

Well then here is what you should do.

1. Apologize and write a letter stating that with kids and marriage you completely forgot about informing CIC - but in no way you ignore the due respect that the process merits. Further, you did not falify information (i.e. if it is as you claim that at the time of application you did not have kids and a husband).

2. Send all information. Make sure you highlight the fact that your kids and husband are citizens.

3. THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE - COME OUT CLEAN, AND DON´T BASE YOUR JUDGEMENT ON ANYONE, WRITE EVERYTHING TRUTHFULLY!

yeah girl, write to them and apologyze. Then, get a lawyer. You need expert advice on how to go about attaining and arranging those documents that you have to send. SEND ALL THEY NEED, but, be sure to get expert advice as to how to attain every single document they need and be sure to get them within the next 15 days, don´t wait until last minute! YOU HAVE A GREAT CHANCE OF GETTING IN!! They realize that you should get your PR because of your children being canadians and also even better chance because of your husband.
