hi friends,
I need a visitor visa, i already have a student but thats expired in oct 2006. so i need a visitor visa because my file is processing in buffalo.
SO anybody tell me a how should i get the visitor visa and what are the complecations in getting the visa.

Kate you need to tell:
1. Which country you currently are resident of? and are you legally living there?
2. Which country you are a citizen of?
3. For which country do you need a visit visa and for how long.

Kate your entitled to a two year work permit after your studies finish in October 2006. As long as you can find work in a non major centre you can get a two year work permit otherwise a one year work permit.
You should be looking for employment in your field of study now so when your student status expires you will just apply to ammend your status to WP.
Having work experience in Canada will increase your selection points as well.
The Visa Post that you apply for your CVV will know that you have applied for permanent residency so asking for a CVV will be a tough sell because they know by your PR application that you intend to remain permanently in Canada. That implys strongly that the definition of a visitor you will not meet.
Try your best to find employment.

Yes but you yourself have to sell yourself to the employer.
