Hi,
if i apply to quebec immigration selection program under the class of skilled worker, and then enter quebec border (thus become a PR), will i be able to move to other provinces? Is the time spent in other provinces counted towards the residence requirement (3 years) to become a naturalized citizen?
i heard that once you become a PR you are free to move to other provinces for the federal immigration program.
if i am selected from quebec, am i obligated to stay in quebec till i become naturalized?
thanks.

(in reply to: immigration to quebec questions) No, you can move out of Quebec as soon as you get it, although if the authorities find out they might not be too happy you violated their terms of agreement when you get your Quebec certificate. The naturalisation is 3 out of the last 4 years in Canada, it doesn´t matter where in Canada (Quebec included - it´s not a different country, after all) you are.
