Subject: Should I reapply for the immigration?!
  Hi all.
I hope anybody can give me some advises.

I applied in October 2005, in skilled worker class.
I went Buffalo for the interview in April 2006,
and have done the medical after that.

It has been already about 3 months after the medical,
but still no passport request.

I just got the CAIPS note, which has the date June 9th.
All the information about the interview has dessapired,
which was on the CAIPS note before the interview, such as date of the interview.
I have no idea what´s going on....

I am going to get married in coming December, and wondering if I should start considering to reapply in the family class.

Should I just wait????
I am so frustrated, since I need to save money for the wedding but can not work!!!!

Please help me out!

Just wait. I know the time wondering what is happening is stressful beyond belief but just wait. Be happy with your partner if they are in Canada and get on with your life. Watch pots never boil. Don´t pay attention and real soon you will have a letter from them.

well, i think you should definitely wait! You´ve come soooo far, got to a point that i wish i was at....i haven´t even applied yet man, but, i know it takes patience and endurance, you´re just one phase away from getting your stamp, just be patient and focus your mind on how you will adapt to canada. Don´t re-apply for family class, when you applied, you were single, and you may get the request for your passport before December. If you re-apply for family class, your wait just might be prolonged. just my humble opinion.

Panda-

What were your points tally on CAIPS?
Why were you called for an interview?

If my points are OK, no criminal background, have enough money to show I´d just wait for CIC to contact me.

In anycase you cannot re-apply if one application is in process. You will have to first recall the older application before you can re-apply. But I´d say wait - you have already invested time and money in your application, all is done you cannot make it any worse. Maybe lady luck shines on you.
