I am currently living in Canada and my application for immigration is in process in Buffalo. I am planning to go live in other country for a year. Should I remain in Canada while applictaion in process or I could leave the country ?

You can leave easily enough so long as you make sure they know where you are. I also applied to Buffalo and got my IA today. When did you receive your AOR/ YOu will get your IA just over a year from that date so don´t go away for tooo long.
