Just to share.
I got the package back from CHC-Buffalo with:
1. My passoprt with the IMMIGRANT VISA.
2. COPR and a page with details on what to do before prep for first landing.
3. Info. that I will get my refund (RPRF) soon.
Thanks to all for helping through the process.

My advice-
1. Save time and money - read and apply yourself.
2. Provide all documents (certified) with explanation.
3. Write once every 4 months to CHC - just to check. You may get a one line reply, but you have the assurance that all is well.

MARCH 2006: CAIPS RCVD - SHOW BG CHECK IN PROGRESS
JUNE 2005: CAIPS RCVD - MEDS AND OTHER DOCS SHOW RCVD
JUNE 2006: PP REQST/ WEB E-STATUS CHANGED TO MED RECEVD

Congrats..
One question..Did you face any issue in getting the visit visa to Canada...any interview due to dual intention etc ?
Where did you apply for visit visa ? In USA?
As I am also thinking of applying the visit visa to Canada, can you please guide me what all paperworks are required.

billy - yr meds are done in Oct 2004 almost 2 yrs before. I thgt u have to land within a tear of meds?

How many days did it take for Buffalo to send your Passports back? We sent ours in June, they were received at their office on June 30th and we are still waiting for news.
