my gf and I have been living together with my parents for the past year.
Her visa expires in May and she would like to immigrate here in 2006. We plan to
continue our relationship long distance so she can get her stuff together in her country
and then immigrate here to Canada. What is the best way of doing it?
declaring our relationship as common law? or conjugal since
we dont have any rent papers to prove since we pay my parents a monthly fee

Sponsoring (in reply to: immigrate to canada family class advice) You can sponsor her but do you plan to get married. If you are, then just get married. Common law applications are not easy as spouse applications. They will ask you are your planning to get married, and if not WHY? Religion? or what, you better have a good excuse why you do not believe in marriage. Anyway even if you get married you will need to give them a proof that you two were in the relationship.
