| Subject: Marrying a canadian citizen |

I went on a different forum and asked about whether there is a certain time that i have to wait untill i can marry my boyfriend whom is a canadian citizen and they assured me that there isnt. However, i would like to know if there are forms or anything that i have to fill out that will take a long time, being a few months, untill we can go ahead with our wedding. Also, after i am married how long does it take, approximately, for me to be able to work and live in canada?

you can live with your husband in canada right after the wedding but it will take about one year + for you to be allowed to work!
