Is your three year old daughter going to live alone in the US after you guys immigrate to Canada?

Why bother? She will keep her US citizenship anyway forever.
If you exclude her from your Application it will look strange to Canadian Immigration

well, just dont include her in your application. The Canadian government doesn´t have to know that you have a three year old daughter. Just file for you, your wife and the other child. Simple, cuz, i think i understand why you don´t want to file for your daughter, cuz, if she gets her PR in Canada, she may lose her US Citizenship, don´t risk it man.

Dude that is the weirdest guestion I have ever seen here ..

1. In the first place you cannot lie about your family status or children to the CIC, you have to declare all of them in your application,
2. If you do declare her they might ask you where you are going to leave her, whether you have planned to pay for her education , wellfare, child obligations etc..

3. I cannot get it, what is important for you? To grow your kid together with you wherever you are or to leave her in the usa and you live in Canada ...

4. Just curiosity lets say you do not apply for her and not declare her and CIC buys it, what are you going to do with her ? Leave her all one in USA with your other family members ?

5. Personal advice : Make up your mind, wherever you want to leave take all your kids with you, otherwise in the future if you leave any kids behind you, you might regret it... God how can a mum and dad live without their kids ??

Whatever........ do whatever you like ...I am pissed off..

And, who says the daughter is going to lose her US citizenship? Becoming a Permanent Resident and a citizen are two different issues.

I heard with some one USA citizen could stay in Canada without any visa. That?s why I asked this question, anyway we had decided to apply PR for her also and we are not going to leave her alone in USA.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this entire thread. Rather bizarre.

As a Canadian, I really cannot fathom the lengths people will go to for US citizenship. What for? What sort of marketing propaganda have you been reading and hearing. It is lost on me.

If Canada is such a second class country - why come here. You could not pay me to become a US citizen.
