| Subject: AOR August 2005, still no IA. Please help!! |

Hello Everyone!
does anyone know if this is normal that until today there is no IA notification? I got my AOR in August 3rd 2005, skilled worker, Buffalo location. I got married and notified the consulate. They requested marriage cert., wife´s app, fee, etc etc, all sent to and received by CIC in January 2006.
The AOR letter (the one in August ´05) said that they will most likely look into my case in about 39 weeks. It´s well past that. Anyone has any idea what´s happening? Did anyone received any IA recently from Buffalo, someone that got AOR around my time?
Please help.

I also applied to Buffalo as SW at the end of Aug. 05. From reading other threads, it seems like it takes more than a year (about 14 months) to get IA now.
My letter doesn´t say anything about the estimated processing time though.
So, just wait. That´s still normal.

it looks like they are still porcessing like the may/june 05 AOR´s so jus hang in there..

I got my AOR August 4, 2005 (Buffalo); still no IA either.
It does look like it takes about 14 months so I guess we´re still within usual processing time.

My AOR is May ´05 and im still waiting for IA....so u r still well within the normal processing time :)

I got my IA 13 weeks after AOR. But the whole process took only 18 months. The average processing times have increased slightly to 20 months for 30% of the case in Buffalo; the rest take even longer.

Brain, looked at me... we applied almost same time, I don´t even have IA yet.
Buffalo punished me because I wanted to pay more T4 to change job, it confused them....

I also applied to buffalo in August 2005,, still no IA. They didn´t mention any processing times in AOR.

Hey Cool25! I´m glad to see you´re still out here--I haven´t checked in here in ages. I remember that you and I received our AORs within days of each other, so I thought I´d let you know that I just received IA today! I´m sure yours will be in the mail soon!
