can some one plz give me any ideas on if i can go over and stay in canada while my application is in process, i would realy appreciate any replys

2 let u understand i put my app in on 6th march and im a car mechanic so was hoping 2 go over and work while its in process

does not quite work that way. you need to be working in a job that is posted by a Canadian company and approved. They make you an offer, you go to your embassy in your home country and make application. The Canadian company needs to prove there is no Canadian available to do the job.
given our current skill shortage - it may all be possible but it is not a matter of showing up and job hunting.

you make an application. some embassies take longer than others to process. Not sure about London.

Sorry trout for jumping into ur thread, but I was wondering, does this affect getting a visit visa too? I plan to visit my sister next year, and now am getting worried. would they give me a visit visa while my application is under process?? Anyone??

Samina, the PR process does not have any effect on VV. So long as you meet the requirments for the VV you are fine to go. I am a SW applicant and during the process, I have visited CND over 6-7 times. Renewed my visa early this year (Feb to be precise) to visit last month but was unable to since I had to be in the US for some business. I have always stated that fact that I am a SW applicant on the form since they ask those questions anyway. You will be fine if you meet the requirements
