| Subject: Landing by car and goods to follow - Please advise |

Questions for those who landed in Canada from the US by driving their own car. The questions are:
1)If I include my car in the "Goods to follow", am I allowed to proceed into Canada on the same day in this car, stay there for a few days, then return to the US? I have to return to the US to take care of some personal matters before moving to Canada permenently.
2) Can i include a computer that i have not yet owned in the "Goods to Follow"? I plan to buy a laptop in a few months, and it will be after i have landed.
Anyone with similar experience please share. Thank you very much.

1. My guess is yes. To be sure call this number,1-888-848-8240 (riv.ca), they will surely give you the answer you need.
2. You are required to include serial #s to your goods to follow list, so there might be a problem there.
