| Subject: Define "1 or 2 yr Diploma" & 2yr Bachelor Degree |

Hi,
Im finding it rather difficult to get a firm answer to my specific issue.
When it says "2yr bachelor degree" in the skilled worker assesment what exactly does this mean? I completed 2 yrs of a BA History but dropped out after the 2nd year and consequently have no qualification in that subject. Does 2yr Bachelor degree mean completed 2 yrs (showing ability to study at that level) or does it mean a foundation degree e.g. HND?
Secondly, does a 2yr part time diploma count as 1yr diploma on the assesment? Also, what level of study does a diploma count as? I am thinking of taking an HNC in multimedia design here in the UK. It is part time for 2 years.
As my girlfriend who works for student services pointed out - you cant really define education or qualifiactions in terms of years can you?
So many questions I know! Everyones circumstances are obviously different and I have not found any info from which I can gauge a fair answer to my issue.

Its not 2 year bachelor degree. It means a bacheler degree obtained as a result of minimum 2 years of full time study at a recognised university.
In your cae, u dont have a bachelor degree and you "ll not recieve points for this.
CIC defines education in terms of years of studies, dont bother whether its right 2 do so or not.

No bachelors !! No Aspiration of Migration.
Forget it !!! People are struggling to score 67 with Masters Degree and 4 yrs of working exp.

Well after my course I would have 70 points with 2yrs experience in a work environment which I already have. Thanks for your cinicism.
