Subject: Landing Fees and RPRF
Is Landing fees same as RPRF. I am asking this question b´cos today we received phone call from Consulate and they asked if we have paid the fees. I have paid the RPRF for myself and my spouse which is $890 (USD).

Please help.

yes, it is the same. if you have a receipt, you may want to fax it through to the consulate for verification.

Thanks Sharon,

I have scanned copy of the cashiers check and the tracking information which shows that it was delieverd to them.

Do you think sending them email with these documents will be enough?

Can I call them and discuss these?

Thanks

it never hurts to try. the deal is to get a confirmation in their hands asap so there is not additional delay on your file.

make sure all your CIC information is included

I think the folks handling the landing fees and those at CIC handling the rest of your stuff are not always in tandem. I´ve received a communications requesting the landing fee IF I´ve not already done so, so it could be just a formality.
