Hi. I´ve got a few questions that I don´t find clearly answered on the website or application form...just wondering if anyone has this information...I´d appreciate it.
1) For the proof of funds, can I take a loan (which could then be used to buy a house later on there) and use that?
2) And how soon do I need to show those funds...at time of submitting my application or when my application is being processed years later?
3) My common-law partner is of a different citizenship than me. However, his country´s processing time is MUCH faster than mine. Even though I am the principal applicant, can we apply through his country´s office? Or do we each apply to separate offices despite being a joint application?
4) I am a contract-work-from-home employee. How does CIC assess the duration of my emplyoment since I am not on a company payroll per se? What information do I need to provide to show the full-time status of my work?
