Today received the results of the sputum tests. Based on the Furtherance document, sputum smears and cultures for Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, taken on 3 consecutive days and incubated for 6 to 8 weeks. I am not sure why the lab report ready 5 days.
The reports have 3 sections as follows:

Few bacteria seen, none predominant
2. Final Report
------------------
Moderate growth normal upper respiratory flora isolated with no predominant organism.
No further workup

Source: Sputum
3. Stains/Preparations

AFB Stain
No acid-fast bacilli seen
Do I have a problem with this in getting rest of the process for my visa? Lab did not continue the incubation for 6 weeks because there is not active TB found?
I was little worried when I got additional medical request, now more worried with the report.

Hi She, can you tell me one things that is I did my medicals in 14th May 2006 and recived in Ottawa 20th May. I´not getting any information so far. Is there any Medicals problem or just fine? Any idea. Please, need suggestion. Thank you.

she, thank you for your response. Do you know if there would not be concern with Ottawa as the lab did not incubate the sample for 6 - 8 weeks? Instead they did the culture and smears as soon as they received samples. When I asked the physican (different from the DMP), he stated that is the lab standard and the lab stardards are closely monitored and defined by authorities.
I mentioned my concern to him, he said if immigration dept has any concern, they should contact lab.
I am not sure what to do.
Tomorrow I am taking the results to DMP to let him send to Ottawa. I hope DMP and Ottawa will be ok with everything.
