Hi Everybody
I was wondering if anybody knew anything about my 2 situations:
1) When I get my letter saying they received my application, can I work or operate a business in Canada?
2) If I get approved for resident status (as a skilled worker)can I open a business in Canada? ( I dont meet the requirements of entrepreneur)
3) I am waiting on my police report from the US, can I send in my application first and then send the report when I get it?

1. In theory no one can work without authorization in Canada but the government estimates 200,000 undocumented workers see Toronto Globe and Mail November 11 2004 article fromer former Minister of Immigration.
2. If your approved as a skilled worker you are a PR and you can start a business if you so choose to.
3. Sending in an incomplete application will probably get it sent right back to you.
