Do a search on this subject here and in the other forum, http://www.immigration.ca/discussion-mnu.asp. This has recently been discussed in much detail.

I would also ask questions in a different way, instead of "I want to know..."

Yes ZhenGheng, I think that´d give you better results in future questions.

Here´s some information on your question that may help:

First, you must plan on "importing" your car to Canada. Normally you would do this at the time of landing. It would be included on your "imported goods" list downloadable from the CIC website. At landing you would submit this form and fill out other car registration forms with Canadian Customs. If you choose to import your car later, at landing it must be listed on your "goods to follow" list which you would submit. This is the same form but checked "goods to follow".

Keep in mind that your car must also be listed as admissible by Canada. Admissible cars are listed on a seperate website provided as a link by CIC. Additionally, after importing your car, the car must then be inspected in Canada and any modifications to meet Canadian requirements completed in 30 days after importing.

Finally and before all of the above, you must "export" your car from the U.S. Here, you must notify the U.S. Customs border post at the point you intend to cross at least 72 hours in advance. You do this by sending that post a copy of the original title of the car. At the time of crossing, you report with the original title to the U.S. Customs post to complete the export.

Dear Mr. Richard,
I really appreciate your kind clarification on this issue.
Thank you so very much Sir.

Hopefully one day you will overcome your slave mentality. I understand you are coming from some third world country, as I am, and most definitely your country was a former colony or something like that. That?s why you have the slave mentality.

Sorry for my honest opinion.

Sorry, am not from a 3rd world country nor have slave mentality. But if it suits you, then yes we shall arise and unburden ourselves from these unjust shackles snd once again be mentally free. How was that?

Dear Mr. Richard,
I´m sorry to offend you, where are you From again ?
I?m from third world country that?s why I want to migrate to Canada for better future.
By the way, why are you moving from your Haven country (not third world)?
