Deliriously happy! My AOR came in March 2005, medicals were done in May 2006, and now the Passport Request has materialized. One just needs to be patient and optimistic. It comes through, and the sight of the grey envelope makes you see reds and golds! Right now I feel like that Italian actor who mounted the seat and made declarations of love to all after winning the Best Actor Academy Award for "Life is Beautiful". Having been educated in Britain, I´m off to being the Queen´s subject all over again! :-)

Yes, I applied in Nov 2004. Got my AOR in March 2005. Then a long silence. Heard from the CIC in April of 2006 asking for medicals. Did those in May 2006. Got my PPR in August (yesterday)! Thanks for the good wishes. I´m excited!

Well, as things stand, I´m now a Canadian resident! :-) As for where I´m from originally, I don´t think I need to divulge that! But, yes, I´m Muslim!
